Long Island Fire & Security
Long Island Fire & Security was founded in 2020 by Dean Bossert and Andrew Gutierrez during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic with a mission to meet the growing needs for residential / commercial security and public safety. Initially our focus was on installing security systems and biometric devices to help mitigate the spread of the Covid-19 virus, but we quickly expanded our services to include Fire and Burglar alarm systems as more and more people started either working or attending school from home. Today, Long Island Fire & Security is dedicated to providing comprehensive and cutting-edge solutions to protect homes and businesses across Long Island including video surveillance, physical security, alarm systems, and so much more.
Our mission is to deliver professional security solutions that ensure peace of mind and safeguard what matters most to you. Our founders believe in being able to provide the highest levels of service which is why Long Island Fire & Security is a proud member of the New York State Electronic Security Association ( NYSESA ), Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) where our staff are also certified members. Long Island Fire and Security is also a member of the Metropolitan Burglar and Fire Alarm Association of New York (MBFAA)
Dean Bossert

Dean Bossert is a technology integration expert with extensive experience in network security, smart home solution, security cameras, audio-visual systems, and more. With over 15 years in the industry, Dean has been instrumental in designing and implementing advanced technology solutions that enhance home security and automation. His passion for innovation and expertise in emerging technologies play a crucial role in advancing the company’s mission and ensuring our clients receive the latest and most effective security solutions.
Andrew Guiterrez
Co-Founder & Lead Installer
Andrew Gutierrez brings a wealth of experience in low-voltage cable installation and wiring to his role as Lead Installer. His expertise includes installing and terminating fiber internet and telephone services, providing a strong foundation for our security and alarm system installations. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards, Andrew oversees the installation process to ensure that every system is installed efficiently and meets our rigorous quality requirements. His hands-on approach and dedication are key to delivering exceptional results for our clients.
